Today when I woke up I wanted to talk about mind set’s. Then, I came across a Charles Stanley’s daily devotional! Here is a direct quote. “Jesus intercedes for us. While the disciples were struggling through the wind and the waves, Jesus was on the mountain praying. Today He is in heaven, interceding for us (Rom. 8:34).” Jesus choose to turn to God in a time of struggle.
This is so important because God should always should be our main mind set, number 1. God is involved in our lives good or bad, storm or calm. He guides us, gives us wisdom, knowledge and power. There is nothing He doesn’t already know about us and won’t help us get through.
Colossians 3:2 “Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.”
Romans 12:2 “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
2 Timmothy 1:7 “For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”
Prayer Starter: Lord, please help myself and others focus our mind set on you. Thank you for always letting me turn to you and rely on you. Amen.
