Do you give thanks to the Lord daily? He gives us everything from life, fruits of the spirit, the clothes on our back, food in our stomach to a house over our heads. My biggest role model, besides Jesus Christ used to say this when she prayed. “Lord, please protect us from the tops of our heads to the souls of our feel.” God also gives us more than physical things to be thank full for. Examples are protection, guidence, peace, love, joy, encouragement, hope patience, wisdom, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control and so much more!
What are you most thank full for today and this week? Thanksgiving is coming up! With all the busyness around the holidays I love how God starts the holidays off with Thanksgiving. I think he gives us this time to be thankful for one another and what we have before the craziness of the Holidays. Especially as Christians, it’s important for us to be giving thanks in our walk with Christ daily. Not just on Thanksgiving. Ask yourself what you can do to bring blessings onto others today in the name of Jesus Christ?
2 Psalms 7:17 “I will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness; I will sing the praises of the name of the Lord Most High.”
Prayer Starter: Lord, thank you so much for everything you have given me. I’m very thankful for you and everything that you have put into my life. I pray today you let myself and others give thanks, gratitude and love to You. Amen.
