Have you ever loved someone so much that you would die for them? Well, God love’s us all so much that He did. We are created in His image the bible tells us. We are His children. He is our father. He loves and cares for us so much that He is willing to give up His life for ours. Faith in Christ is enough to be saved because we are no longer under the “law” of the bible.
This means that we can no longer be saved by what we do or our works. Only by faith in Jesus Christ alone can we be saved. Not only is our debt paid in full but now, we have taken up our own cross to follow Christ. We have a new life as Christans. Our goal every single day should be to live a life that is pleasing to God and glorify’s Him.
Galatian’s 2:20: “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
Prayer Starter: Lord, please help me today take up my cross and live a life that is pleasing to you. I love you so much. Thank you for dyeing on the cross for me to pay my debt in full and forgive me of my sins. Amen.
