God requires that we hold ourselves to morally high standards. Micah 6:8 tells us to to hold righteousness, lawfulness, justice and to stand our ground. These are strong words. The moral principle of determining justice is conduct. Meaning how we behave and respond to situations shows how morally right we are and the standards we hold ourselves to. I try to show everyone love and kindness because I want to walk humbly in God. I try to be modest and meek by conducting myself in a way that is lowly in position. Everyone has different callings in their life but these are all figures we should be living by in order to serve God. I can honestly say I don’t always do this but, when I notice I’m not I’m able to admit it and ask for God to help me. This is what He calls us to do because it is His desire. How can you show justice, love, kindness and humbly walk with God today?
Micah 6:8 “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”
Prayer Starter: Lord, please help me today show others justice, love, kindness and my ability to walk humbly in you. Thank you for giving me the ability to highly hold moral standards in order to serve you. Amen.
