Encouragement

Hebrews 6:10 tells us that God is morally just and fair. He will bring things into our mind when necessary and when we ask for them. He will even bring things to our mind when we don’t ask for them. Sometimes you don’t know what you don’t know. I for one can admit that I don’t always know whats best for me but I do know God always knows whats best for me. I know He will always provide, protect, encourage and guide me through every situation of my life even when I don’t ask for it. I know He is working behind the scenes for my best interest because He loves me.

Joyce Meyer spoke in her Daily Devotional today that as she’s been continuing her walk of faith, God has replied to her “do what you want” when asking for advice. She was shocked to hear this but she compared it to how when you have kids and they are little you have to lead and guide them but, as they become more mature and grow up you give them more freedom to make their own decisions. I think this is because God knows you have the strength, tools and knowledge to make the right decisions with out His guidance 100% of the time. Especially the further you go in your walk of faith with Him. He is our heavenly Father and loves us. I love how Joyce compares God loving us to how parents love their children.

When we pray to God and ask Him to help negative thoughts leave our mind, He will help negative thoughts leave our mind. He will also help good, Godly thoughts come into our mind when we ask for them. That’s all we have to do is ask. This is great news! In the Old Testament we didn’t have this kind of contact with God and now that we are in the New Testement we are able to talk to Him or ask Him for things every second of the day. We have the almighty creator of the universe by our side! Even when we don’t feel like we are being noticed it’s important to remember that none of our good deeds go unnoticed. We get to talk to Him when we want whenever we want! He sees you even when you don’t feel like anyone is watching. He sees you when you lend a helping hand and go the extra mile. Your hard work does not go unnoticed by God. He knows your motives, heart and true intentions.

Hebrews 6:10 “God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.”

Psalm “139: 2-23 “You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You understand my thought from afar. You scrutinize my path and my lying down, And are intimately acquainted with all my ways. Even before there is a word on my tongue, Behold, O Lord, You know it all.”
