I watched a Joyce Meyer sermon last night and she said it best ” I’m not where I need to be but thank God I’m not where I used to be. I’m okay and I’m on my way!” I would encourage anyone to read her books, watch her sermons and read her daily devotionals.
She also spoke about how much wisdom Proverbs brings. She spoke about how if your upset all the time, stressed out, on on edge that can actually not only bring you physical sickness but emotional and spiritual sickness as well.
YOU can do things in life to bring more joy to your life. It is your job to take care of yourself and well being. The Bible tells us we make the plans in our hearts and God will order our steps. (Proverbs 16:9).
God will say no when He means no and yes when He means yes. There are also times when He doesn’t say anything at all that we need to be paying close attention to as well. No response is a response.
Proverbs 17:12: “A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.”
Prayer Starter: Lord, please help us all today have a joyful heart. Teach us to make the changes in our life that we need to make in order to be healthy, grow fruit and have a joyful heart. Amen.
