Exodus 14:14

What does it mean to be still? With how the world is today we have to ask ourselves. Are we being still so the LORD is able to fight for us? Or are we trying to fight our battles on our own thinking that we know more than God?

In Exodus 14:14 God is revealing himself to Moses in the Old Testament. Moses was not moving or making a sound when this happened, he was able to listen to God because he was still. God fights our battles by letting the Holy Spirit come inside us and help us.

The second was He will fight our battle’s for us is just how He did when he sent plagues onto the Egyptians. We must be still for God to fight for us. We as Chrsitans must trust God and give Him all the glory. We must rely on Him alone to get us through whatever we are going through.

Exodus 14:14 “The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

Prayer Starter: Lord, please help myself and others gain the strength to learn how to be still, trust you and rely on you today. I know you are always fighting for us. Thank you for all that you do in our lives that we can see and behind the scenes when we can’t see. Amen.
