Hope is a feeling of trust. It’s an exception and desire for a certain a thing to happen. God not only wants to fill us with hope but joy and peace as well. He gives the Holy Spirit the ability to come into our hearts and change the way we think, feel, speak and even act.
This is so we can have more and more hope, joy and peace by believing that Jesus Christ. He went to the cross and died to forgive us of our sins. Ask yourself today, do you have hope, joy and peace in your heart today? Have you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior?
Romans 15:13 “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.”
Prayer Starter: Lord, thank you for giving us hope, joy and peace by believing that you died on the cross to forgive us of our sins. I pray that you allow the Holy Spirit work in us all today to let our hope, joy and peace grow more and more daily. Amen.
