The Bible tells us that we are the light of the world. This is because we have Jesus in our hearts leading and guiding us through every step of the way. This allows us to become a light for others to notice and follow Jesus too! When you think of light you automatically think of seeing. Seeing a future, family or something positive ahead hopefully. Maybe it can be a new life or a way out of an old one. Whatever it is, you can rest assure that God meets you where you are at every single time.
You may also think of hope, pureness and love with light. Yellow is a very warm and happy color that is proven to bring joy. This weekend someone had asked me if it was true that The Virgin Marry was really a virgin when she got pregnant. Little side note but its relevant… I had to explain to them that yes, it was true. I said the Bible is the light and truth of the world and if you try to twist it or not believe in it. Then, that is not good. I explained how twisting the bible or not believing it is what a fallen world does. It’s away from the light of the world. AKA Jesus.
I called up a Christan friend to get advice and she told me to picture it like you have a silver dollar. She was trying to get factual with the situation because maybe if this person wasn’t going to believe the light they would believe the facts. That was her though process. “Now, put a red dot on that silver dollar and throw it in a pool 2 feet deep the size of TEXAS!” She says.
“Now, have an air plane drop you out and you will land on that exact dollar bill with the red dot.” It’s impossible she continued to explaine.
The miracles and prophecies Jesus fulfilled when He came to earth was Him landing on that red dot dollar bill. Nobody else could do it but Him because He is God! I concluded with saying “I sure wouldn’t want to be you in front of the thrown of judgement on judement day with that thought if I were you.” I told the person asking all the questions this and I pray that s spoke to them.

Prayer Starter: Lord, please help myself and others be the light of the world. if some of us haven’t trusted in you yet. I pray today that they accept you into their life as you being their Lord and Savior. Please help us to have the courage to take up our own cross today and follow you. Amen
