Remaining Calm

Being calm is a blessing from God. The Bible tells us “Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger,” Ephesians 4:26. Being stormy, violent or having unrest is not from God. It’s a big waste of time when you are not living your life for God I have come to learn. The more we listen to Him, follow and read His word the more blessings He will give us such as being calm as an example. Therefor, our life will resort to being better. The Bible tells us don’t go to bed upset at anyone. This is because if you don’t have forgiveness in your heart then how can you expect anyone to forgive you? You don’t want to be standing at the thrown of God mad at anyone.

You don’t want to have any burdens on your soul when Jesus come’s because this will only be bad for you. God calls us to be loving, kind and calm. Its okay to be upset about something you didn’t like but its important to remember that we are all human and we are going to make mistakes. Nobody is perfect except Jesus Christ who came to earth to die on the cross in order to forgive us of our sins. When you feel yourself getting upset know that if you simply just ask God, even out loud to keep you calm He will. He wants to help us.

Theres this thing where when husbands say “calm down” to their wives and they get even more upset. I understand how this can be triggering but by the Husbands saying to their wives to calm down they are only trying to help the wife. It’s coming from a good place but because the wife is already upset we tend to twist it around and creating more problems. God doesn’t want this. If you go into a quiet place to pray, breath, mediate on the bible and ask God to help. He can help you in so many more ways that you could ever imagine. Staying calm demonstrates the peace of God.

We have a God shaped hole inside our hearts that only God can fill. So, don’t get flustered, question your own beliefs and know your peace is always safe in God. Unless you have God in your life and recognize He is the buffer. The fallen world you live in will have a tendency to introduced the reality thats its created. We as Christians dont need to worry about this however because we will be basking in the love of our creator in Heavan. Secondly, He already told us He will never leave or forsake us. He will walk us through anything and be our escape.

2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.”

Psalm 107 29-30: “He caused the storm to be still, So that the waves of the sea were hushed. Then they were glad because they were quiet, So He guided them to their desired haven.”

John 14:1 “Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.”
