Do you ever get a bad thought that jut pops into your head sometime’s that comes out of no where? Literally just comes out of thin air? Let me tell you, I have and the very first thing I do is recognize that its the devil trying to get into my head. Billy Graham explains it best in this article. Please take time to read it.
“His works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he” (Deuteronomy 32:4). Read more here: https://www.kansascity.com/living/liv-columns-blogs/billy-graham/article88879052.html#storylink=cpy
Its important to know scripture well so we can desifer where our thoughts are coming from. We should be asking ourselves was that from God or satan? The devil is very alive and well. Satans main attack is the mind. Hence, addiction, depression, anxiety ect… God doesn’t want us to live with any disease.
If you ever have a bad thought, I have come to learn through experience. Simply by just exclaiming that “Jesus is my Lord and Savior” out loud can help enormously. The bible tells us when we do this the devil has no choice but to flee from us. James 2:19 says “You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder!”
Jesus has already fought the battle and won! This is great news! Knowing scripture is so important because whenever you need advice, wisdom or guidance to revisit the devil that always works! The word of God is so strong and we have the blessing to use it ourselves. Ask yourself how can you use the word of God today?
Ephesians 5:21 “Submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.”
Romans 8:7 “For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot.”
James 4:7 “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
Prayer Starter: Lord, please help myself and others submit to you today and everyday. Thank you for fighting the battle and winning. Thank you for scripture, prayer and your love. Help us today to revisit the devil so he will flee from us. Amen.
