With all the craziness around the Holidays, shopping, planning and gatherings Its important to remember to stay rooted in God. Remember the reason why we celebrate the season! This morning I was putting together gifts for my Grandma with my Aunt. I know my grandma would say not to get her anything but I think it’s important for her to remember how much she means to me on Christmas. Unfortunately, she lives 9 hours away from me so I wouldn’t be there to physically give it to her. It’s nothing big but she will love it and it’s the thought that counts. The bible tells us that gifts come in many different forms not just presants.
James 1:17 “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.”
Prayer Starter: Lord, thank you for giving me the family that I have. Thank you for giving me a future, hope and love. Please shine your light on others today for them to see this in their own family and lives. Amen.
