God wants us to express a warm admiration and approval to the people around us because it’s a reflection on Him. Whenever I drive I always listen to Christan music and thats my time to worship God. I’ll never forget this one time during my Monday morning commute I was worshiping in the car on the freeway on my way to work. I look over and this guy driving beside me is cracking up at me! My joy and passion made another person joyful that day and all I was doing was worshiping God.
On days where I’m tried or feeling down I find myself not wanting to sing and worship God. I remember that Satan is the one who is filling my head with negativity and I basically force myself to worship. By the time the song is over I find myself not only in a completly better mood but wanting to sing along to the next song! Worship is a form of battle.
We are in a battle every single day good verses evil. Wenever you find yourself feeling bad turn on some worship and praise the Lord! Its amazing what it can do for you! I compare it to all the angles at once surrounding me with weapons to battle evil when I worship God. Worshiping God and reading the Bible have such a strong impact on us because it hits your soul. Its not something that touches you physically but mentally and emotionally. It changes the way we think, feel, react to situations or treat other people.
Daniel 2:20 and said: “Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his.”
Prayer Starter: Lord, thank you for giving me the power of worship. Please help me today gain wisdom and power through worship in Your name. Amen.
