We are told in the bible that there are 3 deaths that you must go through before you can sit at the right hand of God in Heavan for eternity. The first one is Physical Death. This is where you physically die on earth. You can also be born again through baptism, admitting to God that He is your personal Lord and Savior. (Genesis 2:17).(Romans 6:23)(Romans 5:12).(Romans 7:9).(Ephesians 4:18).(John 3:3,5,Romans 6:3-5).
Secondly, there is Eternal Death. This is where you will be judged before the white thrown of God. God will cast you onto the left side of the thrown and you will be known as “goats.’ Then, you’ll be cast into Hades. This sounds awful because it is. However, there is good news! If youre a Christan thats saved spiritually and alive in Christ you’ll be cast onto the right side of the thrown. You will be known as a “sheep.” (Revelation 20:12-15).(Revelation 2:11).(Revelation 20:14).(John 5:28-29).(Matthew 25:41,46).
Side note: I don’t think it’s a coincidence how famous celebrities, athletes or supper stars are known as “The GOATS.” This stands for “The Greatest Of All Time.” Whenever these celebrities, athletes or supper stars do something specific that they are known for it’s a trend for their follows or fans to yell out “GOAT!” Take the Hall of Fame or the Hollywood Walk of Fame as an example. This is where some goats are often remembered. If they are not saved they will sit on the left side of the thrown. Some have clearly put themselves before God and stand as an Idol for others. God hates this. Exodus 20:3 says “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.”
The good news is that God already came down to Earth and has won that battle for us sheep! The battle has been fought and won by Jesus Christ for you! We need to all be following Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. We need to be very careful to stay on the right path of life and not be lead onto the left side to death by these goats. We know this will only lead us to Hades.
The third death is the death of sin. Since Jesus already died on the cross for our sins and saved us. We who are alive and believe in Him as our personal savior are saved! This lead’s us to the right side of the path and we will live with God in Heavan for eternity! Romans 6:11 says “Consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God.”(Romans 6:4).(Romans 6:6).(Galatians 2:20).
Prayer Starter: Lord, Thank you for letting me sit on the right side of the thrown with you in Heavan for eternity. Thank you for sending Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior to die on the cross for my sins. I love you and I’m forever grateful! Amen.
