As a Christian I’m after God’s heart. However, I’m a sinner and my life hasn’t always been perfect. I’ve found how important it is to dedicate a time to spend with God every day. For me personally, that time is in the morning when I first wake up. From the very first moment I became a Christian to the day I die I will trust in God because I have faith in Him. As Christian’s, God needs to be our main focus in life. I love the saying “If He brought ya’ to it he’s gonna’ get ya’ through it!” This has been a strong saying through out my life.
I was listening to Joyce Myer speak at church online yesterday and I thought about how she said the most interesting thing. I will link the video down below. She essentially goes over peoples attitude’s and she compared people’s attitudes to a plane. She spoke on how plane’s have an attitude that help them fly. The pilot (you) tell’s the plane (your body) where to go and what to do. She explains how you would think it would be called “attitude” instead “altitude” because of how the plane fly’s. Here is exactly why…
The plan’s nose is supposed to line up with the attitude and the attitude lines up with the horizon in order to fly the plane, she explains. When the plane is going up and taking off it has a “high attitude.” When the plane is descending it has a “low attitude.” I loved how she compared this to life. When we are looking down, being negative and not focusing on God our attitudes go down. When we are looking up, being positive and focusing on God our attitudes go up.
She also mentioned the way we treat people when we don’t feel good and how it is ussusally very different from how we treat people when we do feel good. Would you agree? God want’s us to be in His presence and fill us with joy because He loves us. In order to achieve this we must look up and be focused on Him always. He will give us love, joy and gifts in heaven for doing this. I’m so excited about that!

Prayer Starter: Lord, please help me today to keep a positive attitude by being focused on you. Thank you for spending every single second of the day with me and giving me a great speaker like Joyce Myer to listen to. Thank you for loving me so much that you have made a path for my life. I appreciate how you’re willing to guide me down your perfect path. I pray today and every day that other’s see your path for their life as well. I pray they let you guide them down the path you have specifically made for them. Amen.
