James 1: says “But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.”
Doubt is a human feeling. Everyone experience’s it. However, We as Christians need to stand firm in christ. What does this mean exactly?
John 14:16-18 says “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever—17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be[c]in you.”
We aren’t able to do it alone. Thats why Jesus came and died on the cross for us to forgive us of our sins. Now we are able to go to Heavan when this world passes away and be with Jesus for eternity! I’m excited for this day. God loves us so much that he has given us a helper called the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is here to guide us for when we as believers are feeling doubtful.
John 18 “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.19 Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live.”
When you see yourself doubting remember too stand firm on the word of Jesus Christ.
“So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.” 2 Thessalonians 2:15
Prayer Starter: Lord, today I pray that you help me with my patience to acknowledge that the Holy Spirit is here guiding me through out the day. Please help me to stand firm in your word. Thank you for not only dyeing on the cross for me to give me eternal life but sending an advocate and helper to help me stand firm in your word. Amen.
